Soundtrap Project: Rushing Back Remix - this is a remix of the song 'Rushing Back' by Flume and Vera Blue.
Soundtrap Project: Delia's Beats - we made this in Music Tech class. Delia Derbyshire created the Doctor Who theme song, and I wanted to reflect a similar type of Sci-Fi vibe that Delia produced.
Baljeet's Beat:
I wanted the mood to be very uplifting and kind of futuristic, so I added some audio effects to some of the loops to add the sci-fi effects. The sound clip is very energetic, especially after the drum beat switches. The loops I used in this song flow well together because a lot of the loops were made by a synthesizer, so they have a similar sound or feel to them. When I first used the piano loop at the end of the song, it was very loud in one ear and it automatically panned from one ear to the other ear. I added a volume automaton to sooth the sound and keep it under control to avoid having the piano overpower the other parts of the song. Also, I had to use the Upper Ceiling effect to fix the overflow of sound that was being produced. Lastly, I panned the synthesizer at the beginning of the song to add a kind of computer sound. I learned that you can add many different audio effects to completely change the loop and make it sound different and unique. I used this in my song to add the futuristic effects and I feel that it really adds to the mood and flow of the song.
